ASMALLWORLD AG (SWX:ASWN) increases revenue guidance for the second time this year
Zurich, 9.12.2021 - Despite an ongoing challenging environment due to the global pandemic, ASMALLWORLD AG announced today that it has raised its full year revenue guidance for the second time this year. The company now expects to generate revenues in the range of CHF 14.0-14.5M.
After raising its guidance earlier this year following a strong H1 performance, ASMALLWORLD is increasing its revenue guidance for a second time this year. The company now expects to generate sales in the range of CHF 14.0-14.5M, compared to the previous guidance of CHF 13-14M. These sales levels correspond with an expected growth of 16-20% year-on-year. EBITDA is expected to grow by 35-55% from CHF 1.49M to CHF 2.0-2.3M.
The strong revenue performance is driven by growth in both business segments, Subscriptions and Services, and was achieved despite an ongoing challenging market environment caused by the global pandemic.
The growth in the Subscriptions segment was primarily the result of strong sales of the ASMALLWORLD Prestige membership, the company's premium membership tier, which includes air miles from Miles & More or Etihad, as well as other travel perks from companies like Jumeirah, Sixt and GHA Discovery.
