ASMALLWORLD AG (SWX:ASWN) subsidiary First Class & More launches paid memberships and full service offering for English-speaking customers

Zurich, 19.09.2019 - ASMALLWORLD AG (SWX: ASWN) subsidiary First Class & More International AG today launched its full range of services including paid memberships in English. This allows the company to go beyond the DACH region and offer its services to English-speaking customers for the first time. The company intends to expand its position as market leader in the DACH region internationally and aims to significantly increase its user base in the process. Further, synergies with the English-language ASMALLWORLD community can now be realised for the first time, especially with regards to the acquisition of new customers for both services.

 

ASMALLWORLD AG (SWX: ASWN) subsidiary First Class & More International AG is expanding its range of services and just introduced paid memberships on its English-language website www.first-class-and-more.com. The website, which saw its soft launch in June, makes the company's extensive Smart Luxury Travel offering accessible to English-speaking customers for the first time.

The new memberships, which are subject to a fee, were based on the successful German-language service and cost EUR 59 for a Gold membership, EUR 199 for Platinum and EUR 999 per year for Diamond. Members get access to the best deals for flights and hotels, insider strategies for airline and hotels loyalty programmes, the monthly Insider News and access to additional services, allowing members to enjoy luxury travel at insider prices.

With the introduction of paid memberships, the company is starting to monetize its services outside the DACH region for the first time. The English-language offer will greatly expand the company's market potential and the international business is set to become an important revenue source in the future. The geographical focus of the new website will be on English-speaking customers in Europe, particularly the UK, Scandinavia and Benelux.

Realization of synergies with the ASMALLWORLD Community

ASMALLWORLD AG took over First Class & More in 2018. The aim was to internationalise the German language offer of First Class & More as well as to use the features of First Class & More for the ASMALLWORLD Travel & Lifestyle Community. With the expansion of its English language services for its international website and the introduction of paid memberships, the company made a significant step forward to achieving this goal, also allowing it to jointly market the two services.
