ASMALLWORLD AG (SWX:ASWN) strengthens the Group's executive team with Alexander Koenig who will join as Managing Director of First Class & More International AG
Zurich, 15.11.2018 - ASMALLWORLD AG is strengthening the Group's executive team with Alexander Koenig. The founder of First Class & More and former McKinsey & Co. consultant will join as Managing Director of First Class & More International AG, a Swiss subsidiary which was newly incorporated this week. First Class & More will accelerate its growth through the international expansion of the business. Mr. Koenig will lead this international expansion which will commence in early 2019.
Following the incorporation of First Class & More International AG this week, ASMALLWORLD AG will strengthen the Group's executive management team with Alexander Koenig who will join the team as Managing Director of the newly founded company. Mr. Koenig is tasked with the international expansion of First Class & More, which aims to replicate the success of the highly profitable German-speaking business in the English-speaking world. First Class & More which was acquired by ASMALLWORLD AG in October 2018, is the leading subscription-based luxury travel community in the DACH region and shall be a source of the company's future growth.
As part of this adjustment of the management team, Tino Köhler will be stepping down from ASMALLWORLD AG's executive team. He will leave the company on the 15th of February 2019.
